The Shepherd’s Pathways

Releasing people into the purposes of God

 

Rules of Association:

1.       Any individual can apply to become an Associate providing they have signed the Association’s Statement of Belief.

2.       The Management committee reserves the right to remove from the Association anyone who undermines the association in any way.

3.       All Associates are responsible for keeping the Association apprised of any changes of their personal details.

4.       All events organised by the Association are open to all, not just Associates. However, the Management group only commits to informing Associates about any events.

 

Articles of Association:

Shepherds Pathways are a group of Christians who have joined together to facilitate the growth of prophetic and prayer ministry

We are formed as an unincorporated Association.  No profit will be made at any point by the Association from the events we organise. Individual Associates accept personal responsibility for any debts and contractual obligations that are incurred.

 

Aims are to:

  • facilitate Christians to grow in the knowledge, ministry and power of the Holy Spirit.

  • provide training courses; seminars; workshops and prayer retreats, to equip people for prayer ministry at all levels

  • establish a cohort of people trained and experienced in prayer ministry who can provide the ministry to individuals, churchesor other Christian organisations

  • provide training courses in prayer ministry to groups and churches and to other Christian organisations

  • release people into the work of the Holy Spirit with power and authority

  • enable people to hear the voice of God speaking directly to them

  • provide a safe environment for people to experiment while they are learning

 

Doctrine:

  • we are an evangelical, bible based group who believe that God loves everyone; longs for them to know Him personally and be free from pain, heartache and disability

  • we are interdenominational and not linked to any one church

  • we believe that God speaks to His people today giving hope and healing

  • we believe that the Holy Spirit is at work today in miracles, healing and deliverance, empowering and blessing

  • the scope of the ministry is summarised in Isaiah chapter 61

 

Management Group:

The Management Group consists of five Associates:

 

  • Helen Ballinger

  • Ann Churchill

  • Ruth Maple

  • Di Payne

  • Ros Richardson

 

Terms of Reference:

 

  • Individual Associates are personally responsible for the group’s obligations and debts.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways, being an unincorporated association, cannot enter into contracts such as the renting of premises; or employment of people.Such activities will be done by Associates on behalf of the group.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways cannot own property in its own right.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways does not intend to make profit from any organised event. Any surplus money will go into resources and future events.

 

  • All events organised by Shepherd’s Pathways will have fees which will be calculated to cover costs only.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways would also expect to cover the costs of any speakers; and to offer them a modest honorarium for their time and expertise.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways has a bank account from which expenses are paid and into which event fees are deposited.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways will have three named Associates who can write cheques from the account on behalf of the group. All cheques written require the signature of the two of the three named Associates for a cheque to be honoured.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways will ensure that insurance cover is in place to cover any organised events.

     

  • The Associate taking out the insurance will be personally liable.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways management group will meet regularly, at least quarterly.

 

  • All policy documents will be annually reviewed.

 

  • Shepherd’s Pathways agrees that any associate is eligible to join the management group; providing they accept the responsibilities as stated in this document.

 

  • The maximum number of members on the management group is seven (7).

          

  • The Management Committee members are responsible for:

     

  • Keeping accurate records of all meetings held

 

  • Keeping accurate open records of all financial business

 

  • Checking out and booking venues with regard to all facilities likely to be used at an event including accommodation where necessary, car parking and the accessibility for disabled people

 

  • Booking speakers and organising their accommodation, travel needs and expenses

 

  • Any other business that may be incurred for arranging events.
